Name of an old kids movie, maybe disney?

I can't remember a lot about the movie but there were three kids and they were going from different families to try and find the perfect one for them and along the way the stay with a woman who is real outdoorsy and makes them go camping and sleep in sleeping bags on the ground without a tent and they end up finding a couple and i think they get a dog. something like family for sale, maybe?
anything would help!
thanks!

Going to Disney, September 9-16, What can I expect crowd wise?

I know this is one of the hotter times to go. I figure if the crowd is light enough we can take breaks, and head to the A.C. area's and rest up. It's the week after labor day, so I figure with kids going starting school it may be pretty quiet.

Also my daughter is two and obviously wont be going on any crazy rides. But what about rides like the Safari (Animal Kingdom). Safari (Magic Kingdom), Pirates, Fantasmic, and some of the other rides?
Cmon November is two months after September. Totally different time of the year.
Yes it does help. I have the deluxe dining plan and have made reservations at Brown Derby.

Answer
You are going to be there in one of the "Value seasons" which means the prices are lower, the weather should be quite comfortable and the crowds will more than likely be lighter. You also have the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party going on In the Magic Kingdom, which your daughter would probably enjoy (the cost is seperate so if you plan on going I would buy the tickets in advance). Here is a breakdown of different activities you can do with your daughter:

Magic Kingdom:
Ariel's Grotto where she can meet Ariel
Cinderella's Golden Carousel
Country Bears Jamboree
Disney's Dreams Come True Parade
Donald's Boat
Dream Along with Mickey (make sure to get there early to get a good viewing point-Cinderella's Castle).
Dumbo the Flying Elephant

ImageWorks-The Kodak "What If" Labs
JaMMitors
Journey into Imagination with Figment
Kidcot Fun sSot
The Seas with Nemo and Friends
