what size is a sunncamp Invader tent 600 (in metres) please?

I am about to invest in a sunncamp invader 600 tent, but I need to know how big in metres it is - I have scoured the internet and cant find it!
The campsite we are booked into only allows upto 4x4 metre tents does anyone know what the sunncamp invader 600 is please ????????????????

There are hundreds of camping and outdoor sports shops in Wahington State where you can get all you need at bargain prices.
In Seattle alone there more than two dozen of them, plus the camping sections of department stores, and many of the supermarkets have camping stuff.
A tent and sleeping bag can be got for $80 or less and a butane cartridge stove for $15, with cartridges costing a couple of dollars each.
Or, make a desert burner by punching some holes round the top of a tin can, fill the can with dry sand or soil, and pour methylated spirit into it...not gasoline.
Put the flame out when you're done by just putting a lid over it to keep the air out or drop a larger can over the top, which is also a good storage can for your burner.
Or you could just take a couple of disposable barbecues or a tray and a small bag of coals which can be used for boiling water, cooking in a saucepan or for frying stuff in a fry pan, not only as a barbecue...it's a portable fire.
Make a stand for the pot by knocking three strong tent pegs into ground and slide the barbecue tray under the pot. Smal round trays are easy to find, like an old flan baking tray or similar, or a small biscuit tin.
You can also use a biscuit tin for an oven. See on the cooking link.
An sheet of ordinary thin polythene can be put over tentsto improve the waterproofing and warmth so long as you don't buy a dome tent. Tunnel tents and ridge tents are easy to cover and a set of plastic eyelets obtainable from any camping shop for $3 will convert a sheet of polythene into a flysheet you can put guylines on as an extra flysheet or simply as a cover to sleep under by itself.
For some of my trips don't bother with a tent. I just take a long length of plastic coated washing line and hang a sheet of proofed nylon over it, which I put four eyelets in along each side so the wind pressure is taken evenly all the way along and less pressure is taken by each eyelet than if only corner eyelets were used.
The line gets tied between two trees or onto a piece of rock or however I can fix it where I am. Sometimes I cut a couple of poles to use like tent poles for it.
You don'tneed a load of expensive stuff for camping but with cheap or improvised gear obviously you need to take care and and not try the impossible with it.
You can still get months of camping done in a year though if you have the opportunity.

Where are some great campgrounds in Michigan?

My friends and I just finished our first year of college and I want to get everyone together and go camping for a long weekend sometime this summer. I am looking for a place with a pond or lake or some kind of water to swim in and possibly even canoe some place close by. It would be great if it was more secluded so we wouldn't be disturbing anyone if we are loud but that is not a necessity. Thanks for your help!

I'm going to have to suggest Rifle River Recreation Area campground. My family has a cottage in Rose city, about six miles from there, so I've been going to the park my entire life. It's a fantastic place. It is in Lupton about three to four hours north of Detroit. The park is beautiful and has plenty of beaches and water access as well as a few look outs around the park. Just so you know I'd suggest Devoe beach for swimming, its very clean (the cleanest in the park), less populated and you have a large designated area to swim in and it is hardly every extremely busy (especially if you go during dinner time). This is where we always swim.
They have all kinds of camping from campers to tents to rustic cabins that you can rent. The cabins are a lot of fun and make it easier than lugging around a tent. There is a good chance that you can be as loud as you want as the park is not often overly packed, if you have a problem being quiet at your campsite there are plenty of pick nick tables and look out area's with campfires to go hang out at around the park where nobody would here you.
PLUS literally right across from the park entrance is a canoe, kayak and tube renting area (as well as a small convenience store). You can go there to rent a canoe and than they will bring it directly into the park for you and drop it off at Davoe beach, you just meet them at the docking station. I've done it plenty of times and it is beautiful and lots of fun!! Davoe is huge so there's plenty of area to canoe, as well as smaller creeks to go down, and an island in the middle of the lake that you might want to stop and have lunch at. One of the best parts is paddling back in to the beach area and just jumping directly into the lake from your canoe!

In the park there's the "fireman's" look out which is a wooden tower that looks out over all the lakes as well as the "baby mac" which is a small swinging bridge over one of the bigger rivers. The park is huge so there's plenty of little places to visit and lots of hiking.
I'm assuming you're going to have easy use of a car, you can get a campground close to Davoe that is with in walking distance (we still drive usually lol there's plenty of parking and after a day at the beach we never really want to walk back) but the park is very large so I suggest taking the car to explore.
Also the Rifle River is pretty close so if you'd prefer to tube instead of canoe its very fun, you can rent a tube and they drop you off on the river and pick you up.
I know its not in way southern Michigan but you don't have to worry about it not being rural. There isn't much but forest in this area. However, six miles away is Rose City, a small town with a grocery store and some fast food places (including a DQ) and about twenty minutes away is West Branch if you want to go into a bigger town for bowling or for a Walmart.
Its a super nice place! I go there at least four times a year. If you have any questions or anything I might be able to help you with feel free to message me!

It all depends on what kind of campground you're going to and what kind of camping you plan to do..
If you're tent camping, then you'll want to bring a tent of course. My husband and I bought a 3 person Coleman a few years ago that has worked very well for us. Pretty much every tent we saw camping this weekend was a Coleman too, so, I'd assume they're decent. Our coleman came with a little mallet and the tent pins and the directions are sewn right into the bag.
If the campground has showers and bathrooms then you won't need to bring toilet paper, but, I always bring one roll anyways just in case. You'll also want to probably bring a towel and your basic toiletries.. Don't forget a flashlight! Or it will be one dark walk to the bathroom at 3 am..
As far as sleeping goes, there's so many different options, make sure to be prepared for it to be cold, but, also have another option if it's warm. I bring a sheet and a heavy sleeping bag. We have cots, but, you could use an air mattress or even just a foam pad like the kind sold in a camping section at Walmart.. Remember though, the dew will rise through the bottom of the tent, so don't just use a regular blanket underneath you or you'll be damp by morning. You'll probably just want something cheap to make sure you even like camping before buying something nicer like a padded cot. It'd be a good idea to bring a cheap pillow if the one you use at home is a nice one you don't want ruined.
Most of the time they sell wood at the campground, but, a lot of the time people alongside the road near the campground have it for sale, so no need to bring wood. If there's a grocery store nearby, I wouldn't bother bringing food either, just buy it once you get there. I would bring a cooler though, it's probably best to get a larger one and share it with friends or family that you're going with..
You'll obviously also need bug spray, and pack clothing for hot and cold weather and rain..
Other then that, a lot is personal preference.. I can't survive without my coffee, so I have one of those little blue enamel coffee pots sold in the camping section. They're about $10 and work pretty decent. I also have an enamel cup that cost about $3. You can put it right over the fire to boil water for hot cocoa mix. I also have extending forks for cooking hot dogs and marshmallows and a Lodge cast iron skillet for cooking up eggs and bacon in the morning.. Most of the time campgrounds have fire rings with a grid over them that you can set a pan on, otherwise you may have to pick one of those up or just skip on the cast iron pan..
That's really about all I can think of..
