She is still in the military and coming up on a deployment soon I belive. I just got out not to long ago but we are looking for something that we could afford. Nothing to big and fancy but more romantic and suttle with family and a few close friends. We will be fronting most of the money with little help from the outside. But we are open for anything Vegas has been brought up but im still looking?

A state park, beach, or somewhere like that that will give your guys lots of visual memories. Somewhere you can go back to on your anniversaries. I say rent a tent/ or small pavilion from a local rental place just in case it rains, and for a focal place for seating. Doesn't the military have an office that you can borrow everything from volleyball nets to camping stuff? Get some chairs from them or even the pavilion, provided it isn't camo. Don't do dinner, it's way to expensive!!!!! Hor-deurves are what we did (catered) and we hired a couple of high school kids to serve dressed in black and white. Don't forget disposable cameras for your guests. They leave them there and you develop them. My best wedding photo came from one of these. Skip real flowers in favor of craft store ones. They'll last longer and are about 1/8 the price on sale. Good luck!
